Crystal Roots in the Amazon

There are many communities all around the world that need assistance. Crystal Roots started a campaign and helped raise awareness and funds to aid the incredible efforts of the Shuar and Kichwa communities. The funds raised were primarily used for them to purchase machinery and to create sustainable, small batch medicines to help local and far reaching communities (including North America). This venture helped to create a steady income for the communities to continue their efforts in purchasing and protecting land in the rainforest, but also to help people have access to remedies and medicines for a variety of ailments.

The Amazon is in dire need of protection and activism. The amount of carbon dioxide it is able to store prevents it from being released into the earth’s atmosphere and therefore filtrates and cleans the air keeping the climate change in balance. Besides its incredible animal and plant bio-diversity, it houses plant medicines for current and future generations to help fight against diseases.

Crystal Roots Retreats founders ~ Nubia Solano & Zora Singh, honour the integrity and properties of sacred plant medicines and ceremonies of South America. These heart warriors have a deep spiritual connection to the earth and make it their personal and collective mission to Fight for the Amazon before it’s too late.

Their connection with the Kichwa and Shuar began on a fateful trip to the Ecuadorian rainforest. After listening to their stories, living with the tribes and witnessing the efforts of their communities and leaders, they pledged they would help their cause.
